Illini guard Andrej Stojakovic announced he will return to Illinois for a second season Friday.

Illinois men's basketball acquired freshman guard Stefan Vaaks from Providence in the transfer portal.

Illinois has two top-60 ranked high school recruits that will join the team next season, but the Illini are still expected to supplement the roster through the portal, too.

Illinois women's basketball has added sophomore LSU transfer Divine Bourrage to the program, head coach Shauna Green announced Thursday.

The transfer portal is officially open and Illinois football has been active in both players leaving and players joining the program via the portal. 

Illinois kicker David Olano announced on X Thursday that he will enter the transfer portal for his final year of eligibility.
