TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — A candlelight vigil has been planned for this week to honor the three juveniles killed in a crash outside Taylorville October 7.
The single-vehicle crash happened on County Road 1400 East near 1100 North around 2:15 a.m., just west of Taylorville Lake.Â
The vigil will be held on Thursday, October 16 at 7 p.m. It will be outside the Taylorville Firehouse at 202 N. Main St., Taylorville.
Organizers said they worked with Taylorville Mayor Bruce Barry to plan the vigil. It is open to the public, and candles will be provided.
