DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Get those rubber ducky adoption papers ready, as the annual Duck Derby is quickly approaching.Â
The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at the Children's Museum of Illinois in Decatur.Â
Participants can cheer on their rubber duck as it goes down a custom-built water track. The winner of the finals will waddle away with a $3,000 grand prize, and participants do not have to be present to win.
There will also be cash prizes and even new prizes awarded to second and third-place finishers.Â
