CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Stephens Family YMCA and Champaign Park District have opened registration for the 2026 C-U Triathlon. 

The race will be held Sunday, July 19 at 8 a.m. starting at the Stephens Family YMCA, 2501 Fields South Drive in Champaign. 

Participants will complete a 400-yard swim, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 5K run through Champaign-Urbana. 

Registration is now open. The final registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. The registration fee is $60 for Champaign-Urbana residents and $90 for non-residents. 

Participants must be at least 16 years old.
