SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - United Way of Central Illinois (UWCIL) is set to unveil its community investment priorities over the next four years.

United Way stated in a press release that it has invited nonprofit organizations to attend a meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the United Way office in Springfield.

UWCIL said that the meeting will spotlight how the organization will distribute funding to area nonprofits from 2026-29.

The organization added that attendance is strongly encouraged for nonprofits to understand how United Way aims to help the community.

"These priorities represent our community's voice and our collective commitment to creating lasting change," said UWCIL President and CEO Marne Fauser in a statement.
