Macon County man accused of secretly recording young girls in his shower pleads guilty

(WAND) - A Macon County man charged with child pornography after being accused of secretly recording young girls in his home's shower has pleaded guilty.

Macon County court records stated that 29-year-old Johnathan Osman pleaded guilty to one count of child pornography, while all other counts were dropped.

Osman was arrested on multiple counts of child pornography in August 2025.

Decatur police received a report Aug. 13 from a woman who saw a blinking light in the hallway bathroom vent while at Osman's home. She told police she also saw two videos on Osman's iPad that showed young girls taking off their clothes and getting into the shower.

After obtaining a search warrant, police found a vent/fan had been altered with wiring and a USB cord plugged in. They said the fan was still in place, and there was a space that would allow an item or camera to fit in the location.

Osman will be sentenced Aug. 4.
