MATTOON, Ill. (WAND) — A 12-year-old boy is dead after an ATV crash in Coles County Friday.
According to the Coles County Coroner's Office, the crash happened around 5:45 p.m. in rural Mattoon.
The coroner's office said 12-year-old Jaylen C. Otto was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The Coles County Sheriff's Office and the coroner's office are still investigating the crash. WAND News has reached out to the Coles County Sheriff's Office for more information, but has not heard back.
