DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — A home caught fire for the second time this year Wednesday morning.

According to the Decatur Fire Department, crews responded to a home in the 400 block of East Johnson Avenue just after 2 a.m.

Firefighters found the house on fire, along with a neighboring house being damaged from the heat.

DFD said crews were on scene until about 5 a.m. Nobody was home at the time of the fire, and nobody was hurt. The fire department said the house had already suffered significant damage from a previous fire in February.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
