CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Illinois Fighting Illini look to end the Nebraska Cornhuskers' unbeaten start to the 2025-26 season Saturday afternoon at the State Farm Center. 

Illinois won its Big Ten opener against Ohio State, with Keaton Wagler leading the way in scoring with 23 points in the 88-80 win. Nebraska is 10-0, a run highlighted by wins over Oklahoma, Kansas State and Creighton. 

The last two meetings have gone to overtime, with Nebraska winning the most recent matchup in Lincoln, 80-74 in January 2025, according to Illinois Athletics.
