ARCOLA, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Arcola is announcing a new project at Kelly Moore Park.Â
The project is made possible through a Land Health and Community Grant from the Lumpkin Family Foundation.Â
The $35,000 grant will fund the construction of an approximately 6,200-square-foot walking path, along with two pollinator/butterfly habitats and educational signage.

The path will be located on the south side of the park, starting at the existing sidewalks near the soccer fields and curving around to connect to and eventually cross Fishel Road.

The project is expected to start late summer or early fall.
