JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - An 88-year-old Jacksonville man has been arrested on child pornography charges.Â
Illinois State Police arrested Robert Crowe for one count of Dissemination of Child Sexual Abuse Material and one count of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.Â
On October 15, 2025, agents started an investigation after learning a subject was possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material.Â
Police said they gathered digital evidence indicating Crowe possessed and shared child pornography at his home in Morgan County.
On April 23, agents arrested Crowe and charged him. He was taken to the Morgan County Jail. Crowe was later released from custody after his first court appearance and given a notice to appear.Â
