We have another dreary day ahead of us in central Illinois. Patchy fog has settled in this morning and will be slow to dissipate because the wind is not moving much. It's not just fog, though. Keep the windshield wipers handy; some of the clouds overhead will drop drizzle and light rain.

Even though the clouds won't allow us to see much sunshine, the temperatures should climb a bit higher this afteroon than they did yesterday. That's thanks to a light breeze moving in from the south.

Drizzle will be the pattern most of the morning, but it should clear out by this afternoon. Then isolated rain showers (with real raindrops as opposed to finer mist) will move through our southern communities.

This rain won't stack up to much, but there is more of it on the way tomorrow. By this evening we will just begin to see the leading edge of tomorrow's rain moving in from the south.
